The farmhouse has been renovated to provide guests with the comforts of home in a country farmhouse setting. We are modernizing and yet retaining the ambiance of an earlier era. You will enjoy a country style breakfast in the main dining room, highlighted by a brick beehive baking oven and fireplace. You may wander outside with your coffee to the front porch to view Mount Mansfield or, perhaps enjoy the front screened-in porch or relax in the privacy of the back patio.
Our Border Collie Ranger is our friendly greeter to the farm. There are also some cats on the premises.
The Garden Room
On the south side of the house,the Garden Room overlooks the horseshoe garden with the lake in the background and has another view of the back lawn. It has a queen-size bed with cottage style furniture and handpainted stenciling. It has a private bathroom complete with a shower and tub.($130/ night)
The Mountain Room
The view from the MountainLake Room looks directly at Mount Mansfield to the east and also has a south view of the horseshoe shaped flower garden with the Lake in the background. This room is furnished with maple furniture. It has a queen size bed and occupants will be able to share the large old-fashioned bathroom just down the hall. ($130/night)
The Winery Room
The Winery Room also looks directly at Mount Mansfield to the east and has a view of the Snow Farm Vineyard on the north side. You can see the grapes growing at the base of Fox Hill, which has the highest elevation on the island of Grand Isle. There is a queen size bed in this room with a spiral headboard. This room has a large bathroom with a stall shower and whirlpool tub.( $130/ night)
The Vermont Room
Vermont Room. This is a spacious downstairs room overlooking the castle gardens . It has a queen size bed and private bathroom. ($130/night)
